The 1st Lyceum of Triandria was founded in 1982, when Triandria was just a small community. The current Municipality of Triandria owes his growth to his favourable place near the city of Thessaloniki. With easy and fast access to the centre of the city, built on the hills near the forest and with view to the Thermaikos gulf, as well as because of the quick growth of Municipality of Thessaloniki, Triandria constitutes a pole of attraction for new families but also for students after it is built in small distance from the Aristotelian University as well as from the main sport facilities of the city.

The Lyceum of Triandria provides general education and the teachers prepare the students for higher studies at universities. It has been distinguished for the success of its students in the final examinations, has won a lot of school championships and has big attendance in sport activities.

The first project meeting of this project was hosted by The 1st Lyceum of Triandria in November 2009.
