A SCHOOL TRIP TO WALTERSHAUSEN

(Project Meeting 2)

Wednesday 19 May 2010, by Maria Luisa VIOLINI

How many of you have ever been to Waltershausen? And how many have spent an unforgettable week with about fifty teenagers from different European countries? Now I can put up my hand and say: “I have! I was there!”

But what about this amazing week? I went there from 25th to 29th April, with other students and teachers of my school. We took two planes, a train and a coach –very tiring journey!-.

I stayed in a family, so I learnt their habits and I found them very different from ours. The only problem was the food, that wasn’t exactly suitable to my taste. Every day we went to Salzmannschule, a special school for languages. There we played and worked with our partners and we also went on some trips.

I loved this experience, especially because I made a lot of friends. It’s fantastic when people from different countries can talk each other using a common language!

You must experience Comenius, the European project which makes dreams come true!

A princess for a day!
