A WEEK TO REMEMBER (Class 3, Liceo Linguistico Cingoli)

This was my first Comenius Project and I’m so sorry that it has just come to an end. Nine students of my school and I went to Menorca, a wonderful island with amazing views and fantastic guys! All the activities were really interesting and although we walked for hours under the scorching sun, tired and burned, at the end it was worth it, the beaches were really breathtaking. This experience was really amusing and also formative, we all made friends with people from a different country and we learnt many things from our differences. I think that all the participants of the project have left a piece of heart in Menorca and I really can’t wait to come back one day!!! p.s. I’d never never been on such a beautiful journey. ...We didn’t still know what it was waiting for us...!!!

I had the opportunity to participate on a Comenius meeting for the second time and now I can say the more I travel, the more I love this project. I think I will have a lot of good memories of this experience: the friends, the school, the beautiful places; and of the Comenius in general. Even if we are from different countries and cultures there’s a sort of unity that makes us a team. I took the photo below on Wednesday, during the excursion to Cala Pregonda, the most beautiful beach in Menorca. We walked for two hours in the sun, it was hot and we were exhausted, but it was absolutely worth it! I had never seen places like that one before!

Comenius Project was a beautiful experience. In Menorca I found very nice friends above all my partner and Spanish people. I improved my Spanish and my English very much, in fact with my family I spoke Spanish but at school I spoke English with the students of different nationalities. I also had the opportunity to visit breathtaking landscape and places for example the beaches of the isle of Menorca. I think it was a great experience because Menorca is a wonderful island and people are friendly. This project is very important to improve languages and to know other cultures. Thanks to the Comenius project I have met guys of other countries and it was great!! We have worked together so I have known a lot of new friends!! My host family was great!! I felt really at home. Finally , I think that the project organisation was nice with some workshops to do in classroom and some excursion to do together. Menorca is fantastic!!! And I want to return next Summer!! ADIOS AMIGOS!! Bye.bye The last greeting, what a sad moment !

I think that the experience of Menorca has been great and useful. Great because in Menorca there is a fantastic landscape, a wonderful sea and then because Spanish people are very friendly. Useful because I knew guys of other nationalities, I became friends with them and so I could improve my languages and above all my pronunciation!! I want to return to Minorca to stay with my new friends and because it is really another world!!
