(Travelling)

OUR TRiP iN LONDON.

On 10th April 2010 we left Italy to go to London. We travelled by plane with RyanAir company from Falconara airport to Stansted airport.

The first thing we did at the arrival was meeting the families who had to host us the whole week, so we went to our home stay and we unpacked.

In the morning we went to school by bus. We attended the GEOS English Academy for six days. The lessons were from 9.15 am to 12.30 am. We improved the English language with some exercises of reading and writing, listening and speaking.

In the afternoon we visited London city. We went to a lot of places such as: British Museum, Tate Gallery (modern art), Science Museum, Tower of London, Piccadilly Circus, Oxford Street, Buckingham Palace, Greenwich, Harrods, Carnaby Street, Madame Tussaud’s...

Buckingham Palace

Carnaby street. Time to go shopping!

...a nice place to relax. Hyde Park in spring.

For the return we had some problems because of the vulcano’s ashes. We had to take the fllight on 17th April, but it had been cancelled. Then we thought going to Italy by coach was better, so we left London on 19th April and we arrived at Falconara airport the day after.

I think this trip was very interesting because we visited a lot of places. The trip was also tiring because we ran all the time, but anyway it was very amazing.
