On our last day of school before Christmas holidays, 23rd December, the school organised different workshops for all the pupils of the school.
The workshops started at 8:30, there were lots of workshops: Juggling, Break Dance, Hip Hop, Recycling, Judo, Play Station, Yoga, Robotics, cooking “pastissets”, Christmas Decorations and Microscopes.
The juggling workshop was is in the classroom 3A; there were students, teachers and 3 guides participating. They made juggling balls and to make the balls they needed balloons and rice.

The Break Dance workshop was in the gymnasium, seventeen students and a teacher participated; there were 2 people making sure nobody got hurt. We asked the teacher some questions but the most interesting that he said was that break dance is a difficult dance.
The Hip Hop was in the PQPI classroom. The participants were 15 people: 2 teachers, 1 guide and 12 students that practiced Hip Hop, all they needed was a CD player. We were watching them dance, they were really good.

At the PS competition they were in the teacher’s room playing on the play station; there were only 11 students and 1 teacher. They let us play for a little bit, it was very fun playing a football game. They used the teachers TV and a student brought the Play Station 2.
The Robotics was in Computers classroom, with only 8 students and one teacher. They were playing with Robots and working on computers. The material they used was 9 computers and a pair of robots.
The Christmas Decorations workshop took place at the art room, 16 students, 1 teacher and a guide practiced making Christmas decorations; they did all the decorations with their hands. The material used was wool, cotton and wire.
The microscope workshop started at 9:00 in the laboratory of natural science. They were 7 students and 2 teachers and they tried to observe different insects and things through the microscope.

The yoga workshop was at the Sports Hall of the school. They were 2 teachers, 14 students and a trainer. They did yoga for an hour and a half.

The recycling and costume jewellery workshop was in the Art classroom and there were 11 students and 2 teachers. They used recycled material as paper, plastic bags, card box, and they prepared bracelets, necklaces and earrings.
The workshop of cooking was dedicated to prepare special typical cakes called “pastissets” that are made of flour, fat, lemon, sugar and eggs. It was done in the kitchen of the school and the participants were 11 people between students, teachers and a voluntary granny of our town.
The morning was great fun and different. Then we said goodbye to our friends and teachers and went home to start our Christmas Holidays.
