English lesson at Salzmannschule

(School (life))

Tuesday 13 July 2010, by Marina Bureaud

During the second project meeting I attended only one lesson contrary to the other pupils because in the morning, I did the theatre rehearsal. I was in an English class with Giorgia and Lienia, two Italian girls, and the pupils who studied in the class were younger than us, but they spoke English very well. The lesson was about Scotland. We watched a slideshow that showed us the landscapes we can see in Scotland, and some explanations about the biggest cities and the particularities of the territory. The teacher gave each pupil (and the 3 of us ) a map of Scotland and we had to complete it. This lesson was different from our English lessons (in France) because we are more numerous (about 25 pupils) than them (about 10 pupils). Moreover, at Salzmannshule, each lesson lasts 45 minutes whereas at Missy 55 minutes.
