French team at Waltershausen

The seven French pupils selected for the second project meeting held at the German school in Waltershausen, Thuringe, introduce themselves:

Hi, everybody ! My name’s Alexandra Lacotte, I’m nearly 15, I’m French, and I live in La Rochelle, I’m at Collège Missy. I live with my parents and my older brother; he is nearly 18. I love listening to music, like rock, reggae, pop, R‘n’B. I like hanging around with my friends. I have done some theatre, I love singing – but not in public, because I’m afraid I don’t sing very well. I have one passion : I do climbing, and I love it! That’s a part of my life that I don’t want to stop. I’m sociable, open-minded, I’m happy and friendly. I’m calm, but talkative. I like to meet new people, and I would like to travel the world and meet people from other cultures. My favourite school subject is English. Well, I hope to see you in Germany! Alexandra

My name is Guillaume Gautier, I’m 14 and I live in La Rochelle, France. I have three sisters, two older and one younger and I live with my two parents. I’ve been living in La Rochelle since 2007 and before, I lived in Angoulême, the comics capital. My Hobbies are archery, that I practice for the third year, theatre, climbing and windsurfing that I do only during the summer. During my free time, I am on the computer, to program little programs, make a video game ; or I read fictions or police novels. I listen to rock music, like The Beatles, Pink Floyd or Queen.

My name is Victor Flipo. I’m 14 years old. I was born in France on 19th August 1995. I think I’m very helpful, hardworking, generous, sometimes a little impatient and tidy. I have brown hair and my eyes are brown too. I’m 1 meter 75 tall.

During my spare time, I practice football and tennis. When the weather is fine and there are good waves, I go surfing with my friends. Otherwise, I read books and play videogames or listen to music. I also like going to the cinema to see movies. I have played the piano for 8 years and sometimes I play with my friends in a group.

I’m in 4th year in the college Samuel de Missy. It’s near my home and I go there every day by bike. I study many languages as French, English, Spanish and Latin. I like Mathematics, Physical Chemistry and History.

I live in La Rochelle, a beautiful town near the sea on the west coast of France. I live with my family in a house with a garden. I have one brother, he is 9 years old. He is crazy about skateboard ! My mother is an orthoptist; she spends her time examining the patient’s eyes and my father is an engineer.

My first name is Robin and my surname is Proquot. I’m 14 years old, nearly 15. I’m a tall boy (1m83) with brown eyes and brown hair. I am fond of playing basket ball (I have been playing it for 10 years, I began at 4 ). I play it four times a week, three trainings and a match every week . I sometimes go surfing on Re Island (an island near La Rochelle) and sail during summer holidays. I really like playing the guitar (I began three months ago) and listening to music .My favourite artists are Michael Jackson and Matt Nathanson and I especially like Pop/Rock music. I don’t know what I want to do later but I’m very interested in mathematics and physics-chemistry but also in English and in arts. I prefer when I haven’t any homework and during my spare time I like playing video games, surfing on the net, reading books… I live in La Rochelle, on the seaside, it’s a very tourist and beautiful city. I live with my parents, my mother is a teacher and my father a production manager. I also have two little sisters, Iris, seven years old, and Maëlys, twelve. I live in a quiet area and my neighbours are very friendly but most of them are old. Fortunately lots of my friends live in the same area as me. It takes around fifteen minutes to go to my Junior High School because I go there by bike. So it’s all. Hoping you understand, Robin :P

Hi ! My name is Marie Gombert and I’m 14 years old. I live in La Rochelle, a city of Atlantic coast, with my parents, my brother Olivier, 11 years old and my sister, Clémence, 6 years old. I go to Missy college in a european class. My favourite subjects are Biology, Spanish and English. I practice modern dance for 8 years and I sing in a choir. During my spare time, I go out with friends, I listen to music or I go on the computer to chat with friends on Msn. I think I’m sociable, quite serious but sometimes talkative. I have family in Spain, so I often go there, in Barcelona, Huesca, and Ciutadella (Menorca). I really enjoy to take part at this experience and these activities.

My name is Lucas and my family name is Sampedro. I’m fourteen years old. I play football as well as tennis I play the guitar. .I’m rather small, I have got brown eyes, just like my hair. I have got a competitive mind, I’m not shy and I’m greedy! I generally enjoy people and pets. .I have got two sisters, the older studies in Spain and the second one studies in a high school in La Rochelle. I live with my parents in La Rochelle. Both are P.E teachers. .I love football and tennis and I like the guitar very much. My favorite band is “The Beatles”. I like literature as well. .I’m interested in sport and also in pop music and sometimes rock. However, I’m interested in literature and news of the world, more precisely scientific discoveries.

I’m Clara Brehat and I’m 14. I live in La Rochelle with my mother and my sister, she is 16 and we have a very good relationship! I like music, dancing, handicrafts and reading. I play the guitar a bit and the piano. I’m generally in a good mood, enthusiastic and optimistic. I’m very happy to go to Germany!
