ITALIAN TEAM AT WALTERSHAUSEN

The seven Italian students selected to participate in the meeting in Waltershausen are very pleased to introduce themselves:

Hi everybody! I am Matteo Giuliodori, I am 16 years old but in July I’ll be 17. I am quite tall and slim. I have brown hair and dark black eyes. I am a friendly and sincere boy, I love staying in groups. I like listening to rock and house music, my favourite groups are Ska-p and Green day. I love also going out with my friends and playing football. I love this sport, my favourite team is Inter and my favourite player is Mario Balotelli. Last year I went to Holland for the Comenius project and I had a great time because I met a lot of new interesting people, and I hope to repeat this brilliant experience in Germany. See you in Walterhausen! 

Hi! My name’s Ilenia Arbusti, I’m 15 years old and I live in Cingoli with my family. I’ve got a brother, older than me, he’s 26 and I get on well with him. I’m very shy, but friendly and sincere. I like listening every kind of music. In my free time I like hanging out with my friends and having fun, chatting on the computer with them on msn or facebook. At the moment I ‘m not practising any kind of sports but I like tennis and swimming. I love motorbikes and I really want to ride it, it’s so cool! My favourite subjects are foreign languages, I study English, Spanish and German. I like travelling around the world and meet new people and I’m very happy to go to Germany!!!

Hi! I’m Gloria Cartechini and I am a seventeen-year-old girl. I’m quite tall and thin and I’ve got brown eyes and brown, straight hair. I live in Treia, a small village in the centre of Italy. In my family there are four people: my mother, Orietta, my father, Antonio, my brother, Matteo and I. I’m attending the secondary school specializing in foreign languages in Cingoli. I really like studying languages. In my free time I usually surf the net, read a book, listen to music, spend time with my friends or my boyfriend. I really like hanging out with them. I like sport and I go to the gym with my friend twice a week. I love travelling and I’ve visited some European cities like Dublin, Salamanca with my classmates and last year I went to Holland thanks to the Comenius project. I enjoyed myself a lot.

Hi!!!! My name is Giorgia Elmi and I’m 15. I’m Italian. I live in Cingoli with my parents. I’ve got an older brother who is working in London. I think I am talkative, nice and loyal. My favourite school subjects are foreign languages. I really like sport. I play in a volleyball team. I love listening to music, especially rock but I like every kind of music. In my free time I usually go out with my friends, I play with the play-station or I surf the net. I like travelling and meeting new people and I’m very happy to go to Germany!!! 

Hi! My name’s Debora Tobaldi and I’m 16 years old. I live in Cingoli, a little, beautiful town in the centre of Italy, with my parents, my brother and my two sisters. I think I’m a sincere and calm girl. I like doing things well, especially at school, but I’m so untidy!!! My bedroom is always in a mess: if you enter it you can’t see my desk because it’s full of every kind of stuff: clothes, books, pens, paper… My hobbies are listening to music and reading, but I also like hanging out with my friends and going for walks. I love singing, when I was a child I took lessons, but I’ve never sung in public. My favourite subjects are Maths and foreign languages (English, Spanish and German). I’m very happy to go to Germany and I’m looking forward to leaving! =)

My name is Alex Saxelby and I’m 16 years old. In my spare time I like to listen to music, chat with my friends, play football and surf the internet. I am a tall boy like most boys of my age with black hair and black eyes. I am friendly and funny, I like to have a good time with my friends. My favourite music is Electro house and New Age. I moved to Italy when I was 9, so now I’ve been here for more than 7 years. I prefer being here rather than in London. I play football for the local team, we train every Tuesday and Thursday. I do ok at school but I could do better, I just don’t like it. With football and everything I don’t really have time but I usually manage to fit it all in. I have travelled a lot since I was a boy.

Hi! My name is Alessandro Bara, I’m 15 years-old. I live in Chiesanuova, a small town near Cingoli in the centre of Italy with my parents and my brother. I moved there last summer, but I lived in Cingoli before that. I’m not very tall, I have sky-blue eyes and blond hair. I’m friendly, a bit talkative and loyal with my friends. I love listening to metal music and my favourites groups are: Metallica, Cradle of Filth, Catamenia, Bullet for my Valentine and Sonic Syndicate. I like playing my guitar, I have played it for two years. I love playing all sports, such as football, volleyball and handball, but above all karate. I’ve played it for six years. I like going to the gym too. My favourite subjects are: English, Spanish, physical education and mathematics. I also like going to the cinema, I love horror and action film. My favourite actors are Will smith and Vin diesel. I love hanging out with my friends too. In the future, when I finish this school, I’d like to start the military career.
