Logo Competition : Instructions

 Topic: Logo Contest

 Participating countries: all 7 countries

 Aims: 7 logos for the final contest in Waltershausen

- How it works:

• First: presentation of the theory of the logo in using a dictionary, internet sites…

• Second : presentation of our Comenius project

• Implication of the colleagues of art teaching.

• Open to all the pupils of each school, in small groups or alone.

• Design of the logo respecting the instructions sheet.

• First selection in each school to find the logo to represent each school in Waltershausen

• In Waltershausen, before the final selection of the logo of our Comenius project, all logos selected will be displayed.

• There will be an official price and a price of the audience.

- Instructions: Condition of participation

• Be a student of our school this academic year (2009/10)

• Work alone [or in small groups (max. 3)] without any help from outside school

• Give up all copyrights on the artwork to the school

• Use only traditional techniques (hand made drawing, painting, ink, collage, etc…) Computers are not allowed!

• The logo should not exceed an A5 sheet

• Use only symbols (e.g. no words; a single letter can be accepted as a symbol). The logo can be coloured, but should be visible (readable) in black and white when photocopied.

 Deadlines: 30th March 2010. The winning logos of each country shall be sent to Germany
