Our first project meeting, was held at Triandria, close to Thessaloniki, Greece.

The borough is named after the World War I-era "Triumvirate of National Defence" (in Greek: Τριανδρία της Εθνικής Αμύνης), comprising the statesman Eleftherios Venizelos, the Admiral Pavlos Koundouriotis and the General Panagiotis Danglis.

History:

1915: refugees from Turkey

1917: some of the citizens of Thessaloniki move to Triandria after the Great Fire destroyed many houses in their city.

1919: refugees from Russia

1922: additional houses built for refugees from Minor Asia
