Different colours but same flowers,

Different countries but same spirit,

Kaleidoscope a project which allows to cope

This year I went to Germany for the Comenius project. I left with my friends from Falconara airport in the morning and we had a long journey. We took two planes, then a train where we met the French students and finally the coach to go to Schnepfenthal. We arrived in the evening and we went to the dormitory except Debora. The school is very big and beautiful we were very surprised. We attended different lessons like English lesson and Music lesson. On Wednesday we went to Gotha, we visited the city and the castle.

Maybe the food wasn’t very good, but it wasn’t the most important thing. This experience was useful to improve our English and to know students of other countries. I think it was a very nice experience!

Hi everybody! In this report I am going to tell you about my experience in Waltersahusen. First of all I want to thank everybody for the amazing meeting. I had a great time in Germany and I liked all the activities. I enjoyed above all the drama club. I had never acted before, in fact at the beginning I was a little bit scared but at the showtime I did a really good job! (I’m the boy on the left!)

Thanks to drama club I could know better new very nice people. I also liked visiting Erfurt because I was impressioned by the very clean streets and the very nice shops I found there. In Erfurt I found interesting the bridge, because it’s quite unusual to see houses over bridges. I didn’t like staying in the dormitory, I could not stand going sleeping at 10 pm and I got furious when I could not go out at night. Finally I want to say that the stay in Germany was a brilliant experience and I’d like to see all the people I met in the future!

For the Comenius project six students of my school and I went to Waltershausen for five days, from Sunday to Thursday. We left on Sunday from Falconara and then we took another plane from Munich to Frankfurt, after that we took a train to Eisanach. Finally a bus to school at Waltershausen. We arrived at the dormitory, where my friend and I had to sleep, at 10:00 p.m. On Monday and Tuesday we attended English and music lessons. I was very surprised when I met children of 12 years-old who could speak English so fluently and so well. The level of this school is much higher than ours. Then we played a game to know other students from different countries involved in the project. I really liked it. On Wednesday every country sang a popular song and I enjoyed very much and we participated at a competition to decide the logo of this project but unfortunately we lost. At the castle in Gotha. Amazing experience!

I liked this experience in Waltershausen very much above all because we knew other cultures. The only problem was the food, I hate German food!

I went to Waltershausen with the Comenius Project, from 25th to 29th April. We were seven students from second and third class, plus four teachers. The journey was long and tiring: we took two planes and then a train and a coach with the French team.

I stayed in a family in Gotha and it means that I lived a week like an authentic German girl! The host family was very kind with me; the only problem was the food: I’m Italian, so it wasn’t suitable to my taste (yes, I eat only pasta and pizza!).

Every day we went to school and there we played, we worked and we had the opportunity to attend typical lessons of Salzmannschule. I was really surprised of the high level of English in that school: 10-year-old children could speak it better than us! The school in general is very different from ours: during the lessons you can’t hear a pin drop and students always listen to the teacher! Neither mobile phones, nor food in class! But, above all, we made friends with our partners from the other countries. We stayed together all the time and now we can meet on the web.

The last day of our stay we went to Gotha and visited the castle. A French boy and I wore old-fashioned clothes, including wigs (very heavy!) and fans. I had a lot of fun and I felt so old with those clothes!

I really enjoyed this experience and I thank Comenius Project for giving me the opportunity to participate on it!
